Update?

This is really bizarre.

So much of this city's sidewalk is not passable by wheelchairs allready. It is good when property owners improve their communities, partially since the city is so inept about fixing simple concerns. However when someone paints a brick walkway... Not sure how this helps.

Your concern is being addressed in Citizen's Request. You can go there or call 311 with the following # (20020941390) and they will be able to give you an update. Right now, it looks like your concern will be address by 6/13. Thank you for doing your part to help build a better Richmond.

I called to check on the status of this. Apparently, an inspector has been assigned to come out, though it's not clear whether that's to investigate the painted brick or the dangerously uneven sidewalk between 406 and 412 North 24th Street. I sincerely hope they are coming out to investigate (and approve the repair of) the uneven brick sidewalk. It really is dangerous.
