Taking a left from Route 9 onto Crescent is equally frightening. Since there is no turning lane, and not always a green arrow, you pray none of the cars speeding behind you plow into your car as you look for a break in the oncoming traffic to make the turn.

yea the state put turn lanes in for the dance hall thats never used and nothing for Crescent Street thats very busy

this intersection is an accident waiting to happen. 1) highly trafficked 2) distracted non residents use this route in / out of city 3) five+ major destinations are serviced by this intersection 4) cars routinely speed on this route. Let's fix it before something bad happens.

Turning out of crescent street on to route 9 and turning off route 9 on to crescent street is equally as dangerous. I have looked in the rear view mirror and just hold my breath. Not to mention all the new homes being built off east broadway by belmonte amd multiple other builders will add to the number of cars using that intersection.

I drive over Crescent to Route 9 and back several days a week. It is an accident waiting to happen. Needs a traffic light, for sure. To add to the traffic, there are lots of people, cars and dogs on that corner also.....someone is going to get hit.

I live on Crescent Street and it is awful. We really need a traffic light at the end of the street. Terrible intersection and it gets worse in August.

Still a BAD intersection. However, the city says they cannot fix it because it is a state road. The city does not seem willing to approach the state and get this fixed. Pass the buck.

This problem has NOT been resolved. On behalf of city residents and visitors, City Hall, please take responsibitty and work with state to resolve.
