Sighting of coyote in our back woods at 5PM on Tuesday 10/2 stalking our small dogs. It was behind our 10 foot chain link fence and was trying to get through the gate. We hollered and waved our arms and approached it to drive it off. It walked away slowly in in hurry.We covered the gate area so not gaps on side or bottom and spread repellent in woods. Kept dogs inside for few days. Have not seen the coyote return yet.
