A lot of student rentals on this block, which cause 4 main issues: 1) general malaise towards any community support to clean up (landlords and renters); 2) high turnover of tenants who are not aware (or don't care) about appropriate trash days; 3) landlords not providing appropriate trash receptacles for their multi-tenant buildings and 4) high student turnover means a lot of old furniture and home goods are left on the sidewalk as they move out.
