the large round manhole cover is missing. The inside of the hole is "filled", but it is still about 4-6" deep. This hole with the metal rim to mate the cover to will destroy a tire or rim, and fills with water when it rains, so it looks like a puddle (note; never hit "puddles" on the road, as they are potholes!)
