This fridge was dumped by tenants upstairs at 959 53rd street. The people who live upstairs at 959 53rd Street are chronic dumpers in the neighborhood. Currently, the fridge at 53rd and Lowell is theirs-we watched them bring it down the stairs and to the corner. They regularly dump out onto Lowell street and have their friends dump along the street, too. It is an ever-changing mix of about 12 tenants who live in that one apartment, some stay for a few nights, some for a few weeks, and then they dump their stuff out on the sidewalks when they leave. They have a few affiliated folks living in cars/vans on our block and on Lowell, and they dump as well. All the local neighbors know and have seen this happen multiple times. The slumlord there does nothing, despite being made aware multiple times. Please fine the slumlord-they need to take responsibility as their lazy ownership is source of the dumping on Lowell.
