Give some tickets to the people that come into our neigborhood every day and park their cars all day on the street - where the parking regulations clearly state 1 or 2 hour parking. Force them into the MBTA lots for $5 or a city ticket.

I have the same issue. I realize the street is public but there are different cars parked in front of the house while their owners take the T into work.
The problem is that the sidwalks are poor, cracked or non-existant and when larger vehicles park on the sidewalk they block access for pedestrians--especially those who use walkers or are pushing baby strollers.
