Can you trim back the bushes that are completely blocking the narrow sidewalk on the narrow part of Whites Avenue above Fayette, below Hudson? One neighbor has actually put mulch out over the sidewalk to the road - and there are three very large bushes that grow right out to the street. There is nowhere to walk except in the street. We have some very old neighbors and folks with baby carriages and it's dangerous to not have a sidewalk to walk on. Thank you.

Thanks for asking if this issue was resolved. Unfortunately, it wasn't.
A Mr. Mena from Zoning Enforcement sent me a note. "We visited the property in question this morning, at the corner of Hudson and Whites Avenue (88 Whites Avenue) and found no violation at this time. There is no sidewalk on this portion of the road and vegetation did not prohibit visibility for vehicles or pedestrians at the corner."
I responded because I was confused by his response. I sent the attached photographs that show a sidewalk that goes from the corner of Hudson to the corner of Lafayette with bushes growing out over the sidewalk (and one house even having put mulch out over the sidewalk), completely blocking pedestrian access thereby forcing pedestrians to walk out into the road. I never heard back from Mr. Mena. (P.S. This would only allow me to attach one photo so I'll post the second one in a separate comment.)
