Owner of this vehicle continuously park facing the wrong way overnight and all day on a 2 way street on Oscar St. Driver leaves and comes back and park his/her car facing the wrong way. This has been happening for several months now. Black Hyundai Sonata license # 7RCE196

This is not an isolated incident. I've contacted the police about these types of violations many times.
Prospect Ave usually has at least 1 car parked facing the oppposite direction on any given night. Maybe they are visiting from England, who knows.
The problem is that they cross right over into the opposite lane. This is more than just a parking issue. This about safety. We still have cars that race up Tisdale every morning like they are in a race and many others.
I thought that I would chime in as support but unfortunately we don't seem to get too much police support since they have bigger issues to tend to.
Election time is here so do your part and vote. Change does not come by accident.
Mare Island could be a great place. Imagine the many new homes being built and what that will mean. My guess is 3 - 4 more cars per household. We need to address these problem before they become a standard.
Ive been told that in this charter city.... Power comes from the city managers office, not the mayors.
