Come on Vallejo Code Enforcement! You can do better than this! You have known that this has been a troublespot for a while including the trash and debris. Please do your job. In the past when I have submitted an issue for debris pickup, it has been done. Code enforcement issues don't get done. Would you want this nextdoor to you? I think not.

I agree with BJ. Seeing these assigned to Code Enforcement and then.. forgotten. The concept of this site is that the City is taking responsibility for resolving citizen reported issues and resolving them in public.

I reported a situation at Catalina Way off Meadows which was also referred to CE. I both called them and used their preferred website to follow up the complaint and requested a call back, etc. NOTHING. As it happened a neighbor had an issue related to it, called VPD who took care of the problem. Never a peep from C.E.

this is the same corner that I have reported for the last 8 months about a leaking waterline and their plants/grass is always green, even last Aug thru whenever when my lawn was dead. I sent a picture with my phone and no response

I am responding to the person who talked about the MMD. I do not think that settling is good enough for me or the City of Vallejo. I don't want weed in my neighborhood that I'm aware of. Why settle when we can become more active and force the change on the owner. I haven't done a whole lot of thinking about it but once I get going I get going. Anyone have any ideas to deal with this problem aside from code enforcement for the City of Vallejo? Is it against the law to clean it up ourselves?

My experience leads me to believe the public would be MUCH better served by keeping issues on the same website they are reported on so that community members can see what happens. Using multiple websites makes this confusing, tedious, and.. oh.. is a great way to discourage the public from following what, if any progress has occurred. [Of course I am being sarcastic. My previous direct reports on SCF and to Community Services, with requests for responses, were ignored. I worked for another city for decades and recognize a Big Kiss Off.] This town can do much better.
