That is too far, and those 5 racks are often full.
If a space can not be provided here or in the nearby vicinity (which seems doubtful, given that there are never more than 3-4 buses stopped here and the length of the sidewalk between Church and City Hall is many times longer than that), then a bicycle "corral" should be installed across the street or at the closest parking space, in front of the Courthouse.
Simply closing the issue does not resolve the problem that was reported.
