A new bicycle station was installed on Levine Avenue of the Arts. The problem is it was installed on a side walk that is only 6-7 foot wide. Now let's do the measurements. The bicycle station and the bicycles are 3-4 foot wide and you are going to need 3-4 feet to rotate bicycle around...On yes we forgot that pedestrians use this sidewalk too. This needs to be moved and the other side of the street is not an option. Between the restaurants outdoor seating and the installed benches, only one person at a time can get through. Has anyone thought about ‘Safety’? These are supposed to be pedestrian sidewalks and the way they are being used, the pedestrians will be in the street with the cars.
