Complete Lack of Pedestrian Safety Infrastructure - The intersection of Clay, Brook, and Madison has long needed traffic calming measures. However, when Brook was re-paved twice last spring, the existing crosswalks were covered. Nearly 6 months later, there has been no work to restore the minimal safety infrastructure that did exist here. This intersection is a nightmare waiting to happen, as it is adjacent to a well-attended neighborhood park and a daycare center. The fact that Clay is one-way, and that it's a 4 way stop with major blind spots mean that it should have more, not fewer pieces of safe infrastructure. If the city blew it's paint budget on the race, the neighbors will take matters into their own hands.
