Business area at 1019 44th avenue - there is a massive encampment of drug addicts and loiterers here. This is an ongoing problem. The sidewalk is completely blocked, the street is block - there is no safe passage for pedestrians.The business located there Tavares tree service also has an encampment on its property associated w this. When os the city of oakland going to finally do something about this property - its gets a mild clean up and within a week it os back up. There is constant drug dealing, fights and breakins from the transients here whp pray on the neighborhood. Additionally their drug customers shoot up in the surrounding area and leave needles laying. Enough!!
