Seeing these pedestrian study requests and seems like the common theme here is Tonelle Ave… and I agree, drivers are wild on this road probably from all the pent up aggression from driving through all of the new one-lane ‘bike friendly’ roads throughout JC.

If people have that much aggression that they are unwilling to stop for somebody pushing a stroller or in a wheelchair in a crosswalk, they probably shouldn't be behind the wheel. Also, there's not a single "new one-lane 'bike friendly'" road in all of Ward C so they'd really have to be harboring some serious aggression for quite some time.

Definitely agree on the on Tonnelle and Magnolia

Tonnelle and Newark is also pretty awful, especially if you’re crossing from the SW corner near 843/845 Newark. The building blocks the view of traffic traveling east on Newark and people take the turn from EB Newark to SB Tonnelle really fast. I was almost hit the other day crossing at the crosswalk on the south side of the intersection.

Second the tonnelle and Newark. I seen a girl crossing the street in the crosswalk and suv turned left and slammed on its breaks- she was inches away from the bumper. I was so scared. Why are cars speeding from a standstill to a left turn!

Also, at Tonnelle and Broadway, there’s no crosswalk on the north side of the intersection and the pedestrian walk signals are mistimed for the light cycles so they give a “Don’t Walk” way too soon.
