Thank you for reporting! Public Works has one full-time Maintenance worker whose sole job is to respond to illegal dumping reports throughout the City. This person usually makes 2 or more trips to the dump everyday, with each load weighing in around 1,200 pounds. We strive to respond to all reports in a timely fashion. If you see someone dumping illegally please report the incident to the Vallejo Police Department.

Grounds Dept. picked up the trash in the city's right of way yesterday afternoon. The rest of the trash and debris is on private property.

What if the private property it's on, the owners of that property did not put the dumpings there. They were put there by someone else. The owners are still responsible regardless if they put it there or not?
