This truck trailer has been using the front yard of my house for a while now. It’s in corner of old river and meadows and it’s really a traffic hazard. Drivers can’t make right turn to old river . People in 329 old river dr should be notified Shia, again to stop operating their illegal auto repair shop. How this thing is still going on is beyond irresponsible. It’s almost a year with numerous complains. Do something now. There are still numerous broken cars lining old river drive from meadows drive to auburn st. Do something now Vallejo city officials.

The system is set up to where the goal is compliance so their is a time frame to exponentially increase the amount of fines to gain compliance. Once a $10,000 total in fines is reached the case gets transferred to the City Attorney to see of they can do a legal abatement action in court to address the violations. The property owner is legally responsible for the fines and not the tenant so if they are renters and sometimes owned by large corporations who own homes they simply don't care and just take the fines. I have personally spoken to the tenants and after claiming they would address the issues they of course have not. I have spoken to some of the residents in the neighborhood and understand their frustration. Code Enforcement can only handle issues on private property and not the public street. That and also disturbing the peace issues come under the jurisdiction of the Vallejo Police Department. The fact is it seems the tenants do not care about the neighborhood and the number of complaints I see on SeeClickFix would suggest the neighborhood needs to collectively contact the VPD to see if they can monitor the issues in the neighborhood or talk to your city council representative to address this quality of life issue in your neighborhood.
