Just yesterday 2/4/12 (Saturday) I saw a woman that looked like she was under the influence of drugs get arrested on Pine St. Just near State St. My roommate saw the cops find needles on her person. And we could see a back full of colored pill shaped items. In recent months I've also heard a store clerk at the Gulf gas station on the corner of Pine and State say that there are often people that act suspciously and she suspects drug deals in their parking lot. I and my roommate have seen people acting suspciously, specially at night not only acting like they are drunk but rather more like the are sketched out on drugs. Also when I've gone for walks I see this a lot on Essex St. as well. Over the years I've also found discarded needles on the ground and tell tail little baggies. It seems like that area of town is getting sketchier than Ohio St. I would like to see more police patrols on Pine St., Essex St., and that part of State. Just one street over on Essex St. I saw a man throwing beer bottles and smashing them on the street. My roommate 2 nights ago saw a man acting like he was on drugs and screaming and acting wild, while his two friends tried to subdue him. Lets keep the riff raf up on Garland St. where they belong. They are encroaching on State St.
