Has there ever been a speed watch/evaluation of the 900-300 block of Broadway and of the 3 way stop?? Many hardly even slow down. And Shoreline is a real race track, esp from the Broadway corner to Park Street. Someone should take an extended look. Or are we waiting for something really bad to happen??

I have seen cars recklessly accelerate and go into the ongoing coming traffic lane here in order to pass cars they view as "slow". If that was not bad enough and already prohibited, it also is very dangerous in this area where there are stationary parked cars on the street and relatively narrow roads, and so someone pulling that type of move would have very little visibility and chance to stop for a running child or other last minute event.

There can be small curves in the road to try to reduce traffic speeds as well as delineators which help narrow the road. Also curb extensions or chicane could work.
