Unfortunately, because line clearance and maintenance can be very dangerous, the Division of Forestry does not prune trees for clearance around power lines. Pruning trees around high voltage lines is the responsibility of PSE&G and their tree work contractors. If you have concerns about branches growing on or near wires, please contact PSE&G’s Customer Service Center at 1-800-436-PSEG (7734) to report any concerns.
