As someone who's lived on this block for years and who has personally fought to get this place closed, I still do not know how this place is still in existence. After he was involved in that stabbing, I thought that might be the final straw.
He must have some one on the inside who allows him to operate. I've contacted the state, city and other officials with no luck. He's flaunted the law for so long, now we have two copycat operators within a one-block radius.
