hi, i am no expert here however the habit of people using filbin creek as a speedway, trash dump, bumper car arena, free store, and more needs to stop urgently. this photo is from the nextdoor app for the riverside area and this resident has tried many times to get cooperation from anyone or support on this. i am stepping in as a pedestrian and driver here because im tired of seeing it happen to my neighbors. its a pattern of late night violence and problems we wake up to.

some ideas:
- signage ('if you hit it, admit it,' 'slow down,' 'take good care,'), perhaps accompanied with lights that flash?
- curb-height blocks, wave delineators, armadillo-shaped speed bumps (anything but traditional flexposts which are visually abysmal and creatively lackluster)
- maybe bike lanes while we're at it?

please lets stop this hemorrhage of private personal risk harm and costly safety resources. inaction will not treat bleeding! accountability will.

BUT PLEASE PLEASE no cameras! no (more) cops or hired security! no changes to speed limit or enforcement (yet)! there are effective safer and CHEAPER ways forward if we do it together. thank YOU civil servant and neighbor, and have a good night
