  This crosswalk warning signal is so important because of the number of elementary and preschool children crossing the street here every day. Traffic rushes past and often drivers don't notice the small bodies. This is especially hard at school pickup and drop off times.

  This is critically urgent to fix- pedestrians and kids rely on this for safe (ish) crossing of the extremely fast Thornhill Drive. Frustrating that it definitely was a drunk driver who hit this pole and totaled the car parked nearby.

  Fix this flashing crosswalk beacon ASAP. A drunk driver took it out a couple weeks ago. It’s a critical piece of street safety infrastructure along the Thornhill Dr. Community Corridor. Hundreds of preschool and elementary school children use this crosswalk daily to get to and from school.

  The intersection of Thornhill and Grisborne is extremely busy with pedestrians and vehicles driving VERY fast. This crosswalk sign with blinking lights allowed some measure of safety for the 3 schools, various businesses, residents, and 2 churches that are very close proximity to this crosswalk and dangerous intersection. Please fix ASAP.

  This needs to be fixed ASAP! A lot of cars speed through this intersection even when pedestrians and children are present. Without the light it’s even worse- cars routinely speed by when I’m walking my child home from preschool.

  In addition to fixing this, we need to add Speed limit signs and monitor the insane speeding that happens on Thornhill everyday, part of what caused this to be destroyed.

  Attn OakDOT staff -- here's some violent proof that the current road design permits car speed that is way too high and totally unsafe. In addition to repairing this signal, we need speed cushions to make drivers slow down.

  Our neighborhood waited a long time to have these traffic signals installed and it is very disappointing to see them no longer working. It is also unsafe for the parents and kids in the community. We request urgent attention to this matter.

  This was just installed (finally!!) and it needs to be replaced. Not only for being able to turn the crossing lights on but it is a danger to those using the side wall. I almost tripped over the broken pieces sticking up out of the ground.

  I am a teacher at Thornhill and live in CONSTANT FEAR that someone will be hit by a car in this crosswalk—or the one further up Thornhill (just beyond Alhambra). Please make this area safer by replacing these broken lights, as there seems to be nothing to do about the motorists who drive recklessly through the area, sober or otherwise. Me flapping my arms, chasing dangerous drivers down and/or yelling at these vehicular manslaughter-ers has shockingly not helped…
