Problem exists at Broome and Crosby too. It needs attention.

Penetrating noise from drivers' honking is disturbing us all the time, particularly Friday through Sunday, and that means almost allday Saturday.

13 March 2012 at about 3:30 a driver honked 28 times in a row, about 3-4 seconds for each honk. This is Tuesday, do you think it is solved? Friday, Saturday and Sunday are worse. This is interstate drivers on residential streets, so they are slowed down, and don't they resent it. Yesterday Virginia plates, and New Jersey blocked my crosswalk despite my light, inching towards the forward car and threatening my knees.

april, 2012 still bad; good friday was honking all afternoon. the worst is how these drivers clog the crosswalk so crossing is dangerous to all pedestrians! isn't it illegal to stop using the crossing space???

9/18/12 honks continue horribly, all summer, most days, loud, disturbing.

October 2012 still a major problem in this area....the cars honk all afternoon, each one, many times, and they crowd the street, blocking the pedestrians dangerously.
