The cross walk signals and controls are all disconnected at W Whitaker Mill and Sunset. Since school has started, there is more traffic crossing this intersection now.
Also the light is very, very long to react. Unlike the timing at Glenwood a block away which has been extended, this light should react more quickly. This slows down traffic in this dense residential area and reduces lots of pointless waiting for cars on Sunset.
