I live at 3904 marsteller st. if im facing my house its the house to the right of me with a handicap ramp and a huge overgrown backyard. the house is located right on the corner. she will pay a man to come mow front but do nothing with the back. I have lived here for a year and never once has that yard been mowed nor backyard cleaned. I keep my yard in tip top shape because I like my boys to be able to play. but all the mosquitoes that are coming from her yard is crazy! I did not know you were allowed to have you grass as tall as me (5'0) inside city limits. PLEASE HELP I don't know where else to report, ive reported to city already!

To Anon (Guest) and others,
I was thinking the same thing as you commented. Before you report someone, go to them to see why someone is doing something hurtful to your family and the community. That's the neighborly and Christian thing to do. If she won't answer out of fear, tape a letter to her door saying you care. Listing her address area is cruel and embarrassing. I bet she doesn't even have a computer if older and lives alone. I knew what that's like. God did come through and rewarded us.
Imagine what those diseased mosquitoes are doing to YOUR neighbor as well. Probably they are a HUGE infestation in her home including inside walls plus other nasty bugs to make her sick. Perhaps she's a hoarder. I doubt she can afford nor is well enough to do anything about her situation. She probably has no one to help her nor would pay for any of it for her or do it for free for her.
God forbid, but just wait until you become older and maybe very sick and may not even have enough money to see a doctor or take meds or have food nor end up like myself early 60's with severe illnesses not able to even walk. You cry a lot. I never thought I'd become disabled in my 40's, could rarely work anymore, on a fixed social security income with no food stamps $450 monthly, high rent, and all of a sudden when I turned 60, one disability followed after another the last 4 years. And I use to be very involved in one Mega church that shut down only with 1/3 of 600 people, pastor and leaders doing awful things, and they keep moving around living high status. The smaller one we gave to help Youth Group and our traveling music group anonymously. Pastor passed away which changed the dynamics there. All the people in the small church use to say I was such a loving giving person who has such a very sweet spirit.
Teens and up to 20 something today only care about you when you are "chill" like them. My family of 3 tried to be (one was in their groups WHO cared). They love being on stage and going out to perform but neglect what is in front of their faces including PK's. I'm just talking about the 2 churches me and my family gave time, money, and paid their way when we went from higher income to poverty for 7 years. I kept giving my 10% tithes and offerings and time during the 7 years we suffered as a family. I just had to forgive them and ask God to be our provider when we were a family.
I can tell you we raised a son like my husband and I always did things for people. One of many, many examples was new neighbors with kids having a hard time, we cooked something out of our garden once a week, mowed their lawn when they were working or out never being asked to or paid for as we would have turned them down. My husband was out of work for 10 months no unemployment. We did it as unto the Lord Jesus not them. God honors that and gives back to people in the form of their needs. Just the 2 of us where ever state we lived were in our 20's and 30's seeing how we could help someone but NOT with cash to spend on drugs, alcohol, or stay dependent on the government dole as long as they could. Our parents and grandparents had that American spirit and attitude of doing for Jesus and not as unto man or woman as anonymous. What Would Jesus Do?!
Read a Bible verse I learned a long time ago: 2 Chronicles 7:14.
