I would like to add that this new sign had was also bent a week or two ago, just not as obviously. This most likely is from the large trucks that use Pershing to travel to and from businesses on the industrial strip. This has happened before and I'm certain the city is aware of it from past sign fixing. I'm requesting that this time the city make the trucking businesses aware of what has happened so that they can correct the issue with the drivers. Thanks.
I believe the sign was "pushed" over by the same intoxicated individuals that drop their empty beer containers as well as other trash along the sidewalk and in the front yards of the residents. I find the truck drivers to be cautious on this corner.
