Over the past year, have noticed an error in the 311 system's address system for issues reported by SeeClickFix app. Any issue reported along the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail's west bank between Water St. SE and Benning Road SE are assigned an address over 2 miles away, and therefore are never resolved. I understand that bicycle trails do not have an address, but this system must be able to use GPS coordinates. When loggign into the SeeClickFix website, the location is stored correctly on the map, but auto response emails from the 311 system report wildly inaccurate addresses. I feel for the city employees who receive the same service request every week for trash collection, travel to the address the system gives them, and finds nothing there. Can anything be done to rectify this? How can I report differently to solve in the short term?
