With the rain over the past few weeks, there has been an overabundant growth & spreading of the weed trees, growing in the unattended back patios of 1604, 1606, and 1610 Catharine St as well as several on 1600 block of Webster. No, not that kind of weed...I'm talking beanstalk-ish weeds that turned into large trees. They have caused undesired shade along many back patios, killing off our foliage and making a mess with pollen and leaves. Although the jungle makes me feel like I'm on vacation sitting in my back patio, it would be nice to cut these back or kill the roots so they don't spread much farther. I've written PHA and contacted the landlords of some oif these properties. Any ideas on more effective methods?
