PThe actual location of this issue is 5901-5969 State Road 1382, Raleigh (Yates Mill Pond Rd). The entrance of Yates Mill Elementary School. Two lane road in a curve. Traffic going straight through in both directions. Traffic turning right into the school in the very short turning lane. Most times, cars are backed up all the way to the community center building near the other school. Traffic coming out of the school going in both directions, parents and buses together. And that pitiful lane coming from the other direction trying to then left across all that madness... hoping either for a break in the traffic or someone nice enough to let them in or someone who actually understands the "zipper" to make things go smoothly. Imagine all that. I'm not sure yet how I haven't witnessed something horrible.
There needs to be a longer right turn lane and there need to be lights set for a specific cycle between the two busiest times of weekday mornings and afternoons.
