Beschreibung
This property is severly overgrown in the back yard. I understand that if the city can't see it from the street they can't do anything but you CAN see this from the street. There are weeds and saplings over the six foot privacy fence. There is poison ivy growing up the trees and through the fence into neighboring yards. There are rodents running throught the yard. There is standing water with mosquitoes breeding. There are wild animals pushing through the fence into neighboring yards. This property is decreasing the property values of the homes around or near it. This property has been reported at least three times that I am aware of. It was reported last year as well. The city came out last year and the owner mowed down the weeds and saplings leaving a square in the middle of the yard untouched. That is not acceptable. The untouched section was still a breeding ground for voles, mice, snakes and mosquitoes. The yards around this property are unusable due to the poison ivy growing through, the mosquitoes and the rodents running. Children are unable to play in the neighboring yards because of the risk of poison and the possiblity of snakes, rodents etc. Pets are unable to be left in neighboring yards due to the risk of hearworm carrying mosquitoes.
