Parking for residents has become virtually impossible. With the construction across the street it leaves few spots to park, and for those many who do park on the available street parking parking tickets are being issued.

Merriam Parked on my own property (Gast)
Parking is not a right. It's a public amenity that we all have to share and balance. It needs to support homeowners, businesses, tourism...everyone who comes to St. Paul. Parking a vehicle on your own property (within city code) is your right as a resident. A prime spot on the public street is not.
Unless you'd like to pay the property taxes for a city that guarantees parking for everyone...and prohibits construction of property tax paying businesses....
I know I sure don't.
