Two problems - Why is it this stop (vs traffic) light is two minutes long, and why is it only one direction moves at a time? This is probably THE worse light in the county. Never have I seen 3 directions sit so one can move (for the entire time). There are arrow lights there, so why isn't it like every other intersection; 2 (opposite moving) directions get an arrow for about 15-20 seconds, then both directions get a green? The amount of time stopped for a red could be cut in half. A great amount of gas is wasted with the number of vehicles that sit there each day, and for those of us stuck using it (as there is no alternate path), it's beyond frustrating. There is no good reason for it to be so, and the city should be held accountable for it's negligence here. And don't give me the "too many accidents" bit. Accidents are the drivers fault, not the light. Stop making everyone suffer every minute of the day. Fix the timing and flow.
