I went to this location and removed all water bottles and other litter on Easter afternoon. Not particularly unique here, too bad people can't take a few minutes to clean up a bit.

I spoke to Public Works on 7/27/22 to clarify this open issue. The supervisor visited the site then informed me that PW will spray all the poison ivy and clean the areas where the weeds are growing up through the boardwalk and the ramp. BUT that 5800 MUST remove all the plant holders on the seawall so PW can get a backhoe in there to clean all the rest of the weeds out, etc. Hopefully this will all come together resulting in a positive clean out.

Code enforcement needs to be held accountable, they clearly aren’t doing their jobs. What is the point of having ordinances if they aren’t being enforced. That is a dereliction of their sworn duties and a slap in the face to the tax payers.

The residents of 5800 Boardwalk emptied and REMOVED the large planters off of the seawall as required by Public Works Department on 7/27/22. Now the backhoe can access the area to clean up the entire area between the seawall and the boardwalk.

Also, the seawall has an extreme crack that runs parallel and splits into other cracks.

The area was worked on once; then left the area like a ditch! Which included blocking the drainage!!!!!

When will this be rectified and revisited?!?!?! The storm wall has a very large, horizontal crack that runs underneath the ramp across to the pool area of 5800 Condominiums. What is the plan for that repair? We know the Ventnor City Engineer was supposed to take a look to make a recommendation.

What is the decision?
And when will the work be done?

The public works crew did as requested and removed vegetation that provided support for the sand at this ocean front location, If I lived at this ocean front condo I would be grateful to have the dune present to protect my property and would not be asking the city to destabilize the area but would hope the dune grows and provides more protection
