This closure is for the 440 project, Here is a link to the closure on the city web site that shows the detour that is available for users.

The map shows that the greenway is closed from Wake Avenue to the Meredith entrance. The gate is at Faircloth and the map clearly shows that section is opened, yet the gate was padlocked shut.

There is no continuous sidewalk on Hillsborough Street so the greenway is the preferred option.

This issue has been closed. If the problem persists, please re-open this issue and give us more detailed information on how to identify the location of the problem - then we will get right on it. Thanks a lot for reporting!

Perhaps I was not clear, the locked gate is not on the section in the closure.
