The poles of this structure are too closely situated on this block. There is not enough clearance with the light post.
  • 4th St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
Metro Plaza construction site added extremely wide pedestrian walkway, taking over an entire traffic lane. The result is an extremely sharp jog in traffic lanes within the 4th Street/Marin intersection with a SB left turn lane. Bicycles will share the walkway with pedestrians. The southbound left turn lane has been reduced in length so only two vehicles can fit while waiting for on-coming traffic to lighten up to make the turn - causing a back up to the single southbound lane. At the north end of the construction site, it also has a jog with three lanes having to make the abrupt adjustments upon exiting or entering the intersection at Sixth Street. Vehicles travel at fast speeds, not always staying in the lane they should be in. It could be a matter of time with head on collisions or pedestrians scrambling to maneuver through the area.

This is regarding the new construction on JFK Blvd and Bleecker st. Address is 3518 Kennedy Blvd. More than half of the sidewalk on Bleecker st. is taken up for construction. Shouldn't it be half of the sidewalk?

1-19 Jones St Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square

Sidewalk closed on both sides of Jones street for developers - construction at old HCCC parking lot and construction at 28 Jones Street.

How are our children supposed to walk to school? How are our disabled neighbors supposed to maneuver their wheelchairs? Why are pedestrians continually forced to walk in the middle of the street in Journal Square?

Is the city looking for a class action lawsuit? Every day there is a new SeeClickFix complaint about this same issue in our area. There will be a breaking point.

Washington St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - The Waterfront

Construction for the PATH substation has taken away one of the two travel lanes on Washington southbound. If the parking on the west side of Washington was eliminated for the duration of construction we would be back to two travel lanes on this highly important and heavily used north-to-south artery.

The red car in the picture occupies the only remaining travel lane and the white car is in a lane marked for parking.

We really need two travel lanes back.

Not sure how best to report this but some of the lights are burning out on the sign
  • 61 Skillman Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - Journal Square
Hopefully this is a fun request for the team -- there are a bunch of empty cement planters (I think about 6?) on this corner. It's possible maybe they got overlooked while other planters in the neighborhood got filled because they are relatively new and were put in during the last construction of that intersection. Would it be possible to get some plants/flowers/trees put in them?

Construction company left a divider that was never picked up. It is now a graffiti canvas for street people. Can you please remove this divider?

Hi there - the workers doing the resurfacing work on 7th Street from Monmouth to Jersey Ave. broke our sidewalk that we only just recently fixed. This is extremely infuriating. Can you please have them repair the damage they have caused. Thank you.
  • 71 Cottage St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - Journal Square
There is no side walk to walk for pedestrians
construction has taken over the street
can anyone check on this ?
  • 156 Hancock Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07307 - The Heights
They are installing a gate and additional gate sliding gate that is over 10 feet in length to the outside of a gated area to begin with. There are motorized parts and well pulley system that is exposed to all children which are in the neighborhood since we have two schools one right next to the fence where the children cut through. I see the permit is posted. It is for Hancock Avenue because that’s where the rectory is whoever made this mistake of allowing it to go over the natural property line of the sidewalk in that area must reevaluate the situation.
Instead of taking down the wall and redoing it properly, they are added another element a layer on top of it existent property. Please look into this matter.
